Insh path improvements
Work has been undertaken to improve the path behind Insh village. Formerly, a 300m section of the path suffered from very poor drainage and initial work in March concentrated on reinstating the path side ditch and installing culverts to remove standing water from the path line. However, it was decided during works that the path would also require an aggregate sub-base and a cap of surfacing to bring it up to a satisfactory standard and this additional work was completed in June 2009.
A popular path receiving use from cyclists, horse riders, residents and visitors to the area it is hoped that this upgrade will be a valuable and well used asset for Insh.
