New Directors Apponted
The Cairngorms Outdoors Access Trust (COAT) has appointed 2 new directors to help steer the Trust in the development of its new business plan. Paul Johnson and Jeremy Roberts have been co-opted as Directors, to bring specific skills to the Board.
Paul Johnson was formally Head of Countryside Management for the National Trust for Scotland and is currently a Countryside Management Consultant. He has a wealth of experience in upland path work, access management and wider countryside management issues.
Jeremy Roberts is currently Senior Site Manager for RSPB at Abernethy. He brings a great deal of experience in conservation and land management to the Board.

“Paul and Jeremy bring to our Board a wealth of good solid practical experience and knowledge which will be of immense value to our work throughout the Cairngorms National Park. As an independent organisation we depend on such volunteers to help us deliver an improved network of footpaths which can be enjoyed by all communities in the Park.”
COAT is currently delivering a 2 year business plan focussing on community network paths, Health Walks, interpretation and development of an upland path project across the Cairngorms.
