Community Woodland Path, Insh

COAT is overseeing works to improve the path through the community managed woodland on the west side of the village of Insh. The 450m long path links from the roadside at Insh to the Badenoch Way and is a popular walk for residents. Joining other paths in the area this section helps to create a circular walk around the village.

Insh Holdings have taken on management of the woodland and have carried out thinning and stump removal to provide a walkable line through the forest but the uneven surface is difficult for some users. Improvements to the path surface will help facilitate access along the path. The contract for the work has been put out to tender with a view to undertaking the improvements once the snow has gone.
